SHAME
Guilt comes up when one has acted in a way that violates ones own personal code of right and wrong. Shame, a very destructive feeling, arises from beliefs that you are an unworthy human being. Shame brings you down and destroys your self-esteem. Makes you feel like you are a terrible person, gives you tremendous anxiety and depression. Take the time to forgive yourself for possible mistakes and/or regrets in your life and free yourself from the terrible judgments you most likely would not place on your friends. This letting go and change of perspective will help free your mind and thoughts to flow in a more positive and productive future.

Social Anxiety
People suffering from social anxiety, frequently are looked upon as being awkward, slow or perhaps even rude. Sufferers can be bright; have vivid thoughts; have interesting ideas; and witty, however their personality remains buried. The thought of actually speaking their thoughts and feelings creates such self doubt and harsh judgments. This creates such panic that the sufferer shuts down and retreats back into their lonely world. Cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness can help free up this cycle of strong self doubt.
